When I look back I’m so blessed and fortunate that he had the generosity of spirit to help out a poor film school student back in the early 1980’s, when we first recorded together, when neither of us had any idea what Wallace & Gromit might become. He could make the simplest incident sound hilarious – just by the way he said it. He had naturally funny bones and was a great storyteller and raconteur off stage too and would keep us amused for hours. Working with Peter was always a delight and I will miss his wry, unpredictable humour and silliness – that started the moment he greeted you at the door, and didn’t stop when the mic was switched off. He brought his unique gift and humour to all that he did, and encapsulated the very British art of the droll and understated. I knew him of course from the very popular long running BBC series Last of the Summer Wine. He was always my first and only choice for Wallace. So Razzo old friend, if you know of where to source Grom performance stuff that will ship the the U.S.I’m so sad, but feel so grateful and privileged to have known and worked with Peter over so many years. I'll pay real money for something like that. Kitaco has one but has not released it yet. Grom market needs most, is a functional EFI controller chip. I hope TB comes out with some Grom performance stuff but right now, what the U.S. There is a Yumanashi big bore kit that has completely flopped and almost ruined a couple of Groms in Europe. eventually, but for now, it is just hard to source anything decent for the Grom as it is to find quality Z50 Monkey parts in the U.S. I'm sure there will be a ton of aftermarket support in the U.S. but they don't do much for performance without some unavailable EFI mods. So far there are a couple of exhaust systems from LeoVince and Yoshi that are redily available in the U.S.
